Counselling & Coaching for Adults in Hitchin & London Kings Cross

About Me

You don't have to have everything figured out before you come to therapy.

Hello, and welcome to my little space on the internet.

I’m Keeley — a human first. I understand both the beauty and the complexities of life and how this journey we’re on can be wonderful, messy, exciting and, at times, incredibly challenging.

I’m a warm, compassionate and relational therapist and coach, offering individual, tailored therapy in London and Hitchin, both online and face to face.

I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside many clients experiencing all kinds of challenges, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, bereavement and loss, trauma, career transitions and work-related stress.

But you don't need to arrive with a neat label for what's going on. Perhaps you just know that something doesn't feel quite right that you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed or disconnected, or that you want things to feel different.

Together, we can gently explore what's happening for you, understand where some of your patterns and difficulties may have come from, and think about what you need to move forward.

Therapy is not about fixing you. It's about creating a space where you feel heard, understood and accepted, and where you can begin to make sense of your experiences and find a way forward that feels right for you.

MY APPROACH

Therapy that's personal to you

Every person brings their own experiences, relationships, history, personality and way of making sense of the world. That's why I believe therapy should be shaped around you — not the other way around.

As a BACP-registered integrative counsellor, I draw upon a range of therapeutic approaches, including Psychodynamic Therapy, CBT, Person-Centred Therapy and Mindfulness-based techniques.

But for me, being an integrative therapist isn't simply about using different therapeutic techniques.

It's about getting to know you and understanding what you need.

My why

I want you to feel genuinely heard, understood and accepted.

At the heart of my work is something quite simple: I care about people.

I believe having a space where you don't have to explain, minimise or justify your experiences can be incredibly powerful.

Starting therapy can take courage. You might be talking about things you've never said out loud before, exploring parts of yourself you've kept hidden or beginning to look at experiences you've never thought about, or that you have spent years trying to make sense of.

So I really value the trust it takes to bring those things into our sessions.

I want you to feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to explore difficult things and accepted for who you are.

Our relationship matters to me.

I am honest and relational, and I want our sessions to feel like a space where you can arrive exactly as you are — whether you're bringing something painful, something confusing, a difficult challenge or even a win you want to share. I am here for it all.

Alongside my work as a therapist, I'm also a qualified Life Coach.

I don't see therapy and coaching as competing approaches. Sometimes you need time and space to understand what's happened, process difficult experiences and make sense of how you're feeling.

And sometimes you're ready to ask:

"What do I want to do differently now?"

When it feels appropriate, I can draw on coaching techniques to help you turn insight into action and move towards the life, relationships and future you want.

We won't rush this.

The focus will always be on what you need.

My professional background

Alongside my experience and self-development journey, I bring professional training and experience across both therapy and coaching.

I'm a BACP-registered integrative counsellor with a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. My therapeutic approach draws from Person-Centred, Psychodynamic and CBT approaches, alongside mindfulness-based techniques.

I'm also a Certified Transformation Coach and Certified Relationship Coach, and have previously worked as a Self Love Coach, supporting women to develop a stronger relationship with themselves, build self-worth and create healthier relationships.

I also hold a Level 5 Certificate in Somatic Trauma-Informed Practice, which has deepened my understanding of how our experiences can affect us emotionally, psychologically and physically.

I bring all of these experiences together in my work, combining therapeutic depth with practical tools and forward movement where appropriate.
